The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 22-point-38 points, or zero-point-81 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-768-point-85.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 15-point-26 points, or one-point-70 percent, to close at 910-point-53.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened one-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-196-point-five won.
