The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 24-point-22 points, or zero-point-87 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-747-point-71.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 18-point-26 points, or two-point-04 percent, to close at 877-point-42.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-198-point-five won.
