The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose nine-point-45 points, or zero-point-32 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-984-point-48.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining three-point-53 points, or zero-point-35 percent, to close at one-thousand-point-13.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-nine won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-192 won.
