The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 27-point-56 points, or one-point-03 percent, on Friday, ending the week at two-thousand-695-point-05.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 12-point-53 points, or one-point-40 percent, to close at 904-point-75.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened 16-point-six won against the dollar, ending the week at one-thousand-255-point-nine won.
KOSPI Ends Friday Up 1.03%
