The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 25-point-68 points, or zero-point-95 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-718-point-89.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 13-point-33 points, or one-point-45 percent, to close at 931-point-56.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-236-point-nine won.
