The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose four-point-53 points, or zero-point-17 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-700-point-39.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining six-point-78 points, or zero-point-73 percent, to close at 934-point-73.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened five-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-225-point-one won.
