The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 15-point-63 points, or zero-point-59 percent, on Monday, closing the day at two-thousand-645-point-65.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 19-point-27 points, or two-point-16 percent, to close at 872-point-44.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened ten-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-242-point-three won.
