The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 43-point-56 points, or one-point-61 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at two-thousand-747-point-08.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 16-point-87 points, or one-point-88 percent, to close at 912-point-32.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened one-point-five won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-204-point-six won.
