The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 33-point-65 points, or one-point-22 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-713-point-43.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing eleven-point-36 points, or one-point-25 percent, to close at 900-point-96.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened nine-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-214-point-two won.
