Adults who are still unvaccinated can make reservations for the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine starting Monday.
According to the state vaccine task force, appointments can be made on the vaccine reservation website(ncvr.kdca.go.kr). Senior citizens unfamiliar with online or mobile access can call the 1339 hotline to sign up.
Those who made reservations may get their first shot from March 7 at nearly 13-thousand medical institutions nationwide.
Reservations for the second shot will be automatically scheduled for three weeks after the first jab.
Same-day reservations using social media apps such as Naver and Kakao began on February 14.
Novavax is also available as a booster for individuals who received their first two shots with a different vaccine, being administered for mix-and-match inoculations with a doctor’s approval when there are proper medical reasons.
