The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 42-point-44 points, or one-point-57 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-750-point-26.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eleven-point-27 points, or one-point-26 percent, to close at 902-point-87.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened nine-point-four won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-197 won.
