The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 21-point-96 points, or zero-point-77 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-842-point-28.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing ten-point-04 points, or one-point-06 percent, to close at 933-point-90.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-191-point-seven won.
