The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 25-point-86 points, or zero-point-89 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-864-point-24.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 13-point-96 points, or one-point-46 percent, to close at 943-point-94.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-190-point-one won.
