The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 11-point-12 points, or zero-point-37 percent, on Monday, closing the day at two-thousand-988-point-77.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining three-point-85 points, or zero-point-37 percent, to close at one-thousand-37-point-83.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-191-point-eight won.
