The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 13-point-69 points, or zero-point-46 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at two-thousand-998-point-17.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining three-point-18 points, or zero-point-32 percent, to close at one-thousand-three-point-31.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-one won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-187-point-nine won.
