The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 14-point-26 points, or zero-point-48 percent, on Friday, closing the week at three-thousand-12-point-43.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining four-point-11 points, or zero-point-41 percent, to close at one-thousand-seven-point-42.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened one-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-186-point-six won.
