The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose one-point-44 points, or zero-point-05 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-989-point-39.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining zero-point-71 points, or zero-point-07 percent, to close at one-thousand-three-point-52.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened two-point-six won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-185-point-two won.
