The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 13-point-71 points, or zero-point-46 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-987-point-95.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing three-point-15 points, or zero-point-31 percent, to close at one-thousand-two-point-81.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-182-point-six won.
