The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 23-point-06 points, or zero-point-78 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-968-point-33.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 21-point-04 points, or two-point-15 percent, to close at 998-point-47.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened four-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-180-point-one won.
