The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 27-point-12 points, or zero-point-92 percent, on Monday, closing the day at two-thousand-909-point-32.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 13-point-55 points, or one-point-35 percent, to close at nine-hundred-92-point-34.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-193 won.
