The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 15-point-04 points, or zero-point-51 percent, on Thursday, closing the day at two-thousand-947-point-38.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ, however, rose one-point-51 points, or zero-point-15 percent, to close at one-thousand-32-point-77.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-one won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-180-point-four won.
