The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 32-point-29 points, or one-point-09 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-930-point-17.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 20-point-93 points, or two-point-07 percent, to close at 987-point-75.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three-point-seven won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-180-point-nine won.
